Far-sighted visionary Islamic Scholar Dr Israr Ahmed used to say that there's no Molvi profession in Islam, it was created by Muslims and has no concept whatsoever in Quran and Sunnah.

Every Muslim should be capable of performing his own Nikkah, every Muslim should be able to perform his parents funeral prayer himself, every Muslim ought to lead congregational prayers by himself, why to depend upon Molvis? Learn the Islam by yourself, read the Quran and Hadees by yourself. Don't be dependent on others, said Dr Israr Ahmed.

On this Day in 2011, Notable Islamic Preacher and Teacher Dr Israr Ahmed left this world. May his soul rest in peace

سیدنا ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا “ جو شخص اللہ کا ذکر کرے اور جو ذکر نہ کرے ان کی مثال زندہ اور مردہ کی سی ہے۔ (یعنی ذکر کرنے والا زندہ اور ذکر نہ کرنے والا مردوں کی طرح ہے)
